Earl Grey & Sea Salt Maple Syrup
Rich maple syrup pairs with the citrusy depth of Earl Grey tea, a hint of sea salt, and just a splash of vanilla for balance. The result? A beautifully layered flavor that’s sweet, cozy, and just a touch sophisticated. Stir it into your coffee or latte for an instant café-at-home moment.
Ingredients:
-
¾ cup maple syrup
-
1 cup water
-
2 bags earl grey tea
-
Pinch of sea salt
-
1 tsp of vanilla extract (still tastes fine without I just prefer it)
Directions:
-
Add water and maple syrup into a small pot.
-
Heat on low to medium-low, we don’t want it to burn. Stir occasionally.
-
I usually eyeball it, but once it seems pretty hot, not to a boil, but relatively hot enough to steep tea, I add the tea bags and let it steep overnight.
-
Strain in the morning and add to your coffee or you can have it with milk of your choice.
Peppermint Chai Syrup
If fall had a signature flavor, it might just be chai—warm, spiced, and grounding. Add peppermint to the mix, and you get a refreshing twist that wakes up your tastebuds while still feeling comforting. A swirl of this syrup in your morning coffee (or even steamed milk) is like wrapping yourself in a blanket with a brisk autumn breeze coming through the window.
Ingredients:
-
2 tablespoons of loose leaf chai
-
2 bags peppermint tea
-
1 cup brown sugar
-
1 cup water
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
-
Add water and maple syrup into a small pot.
-
Heat on low to medium-low, we don’t want it to burn. Stir occasionally.
-
I usually eyeball it, but once it seems pretty hot, not to a boil, but relatively hot enough to steep tea, I add the tea bags and let it steep overnight.
-
Strain in the morning and add to your coffee or you can have it with milk of your choice.
Enjoy!
