The Una Palmer: A Refreshing Iced Tea Recipe
Summertime in Pittsburgh is a beautiful thing! Celebrate summer in the city this season with an herbal update on a Pittsburgh classic - the Una Palmer. In the spirit of the legendary Arnold Palmer iced tea/lemonade combo, we’ve created a refreshing homage to help you beat the heat and stay hydrated.
Make the Una Palmer:
It’s pretty simple, and delicious. Just brew up some of Una’s Berrybush Hibiscus tea and blend with your favorite sparkling lemonade.
Recipe makes 1 quart of iced tea.
- Boil 1 quart water
- Fill a tea strainer with 3 Tablespoons Berrybush Hibiscus Tea
- Steep for 10 minutes, then remove tea strainer
- Blend with 1 quart sparkling lemonade
- Chill and garnish with fruit and/or your favorite summertime herbs (salt rim)

(For sun tea, combine tea and cold water in a clear glass container and set in the sunshine for a few hours to steep, then strain and blend with lemonade)
