There’s not a lot of let up in the planetary actions this month. Mercury retrograde will persist through the 11th, while the outer planets continue to tiptoe into new signs. This will bring big changes in our worlds, and society at large. It’s a good time to appreciate each precious August day, with the sun in your eyes and a song in your heart.

ARIES (March 21-April 20)

The culmination of plans you make with groups will make the Full moon special on the 9th. Home and family life will bring love and joy on the 11th and 12th. Celebrate the end of Mercury retrograde around this time too! Pack the first part of theq month with fun things to do. Things at work could get serious when the sun moves into Virgo on the 22nd.

TAURUS (April 21-May 20)

Reunions are a theme for you this month. Some might be totally pleasant, while others might be events you’ll just have to make the most of. Be a good sport, and extend a helping hand to a friend around the 11th, when the new moon brings your attention to your social life. At the same time, do more of what you want, and don’t be afraid to say “no” to offers that simply don’t appeal.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Your social life will sizzle this month, thanks to Mars making his way into your sign. Be careful that you don’t overbook! On the 7th, Mars will want to play with erratic planet Uranus, but sulking Saturn could put the kibosh on the deal. On the 22nd, use the new moon in Virgo to center yourself with a warm feeling of being “home.”

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Love is in the air, so the weather won’t be the only thing that’s “hot” this August! Venus and Jupiter will create a lovely romantic mood during the weekend of the 9th and 10th. Do everything you can to make it a sexy and sultry time. If you don’t have a love in your life right now, go on the hunt! You could find a dreamy date by the 19th.

LEO (July 23-Aug 22)

In case Mercury’s retrograde got in the way of your birthday celebrations, you’ll get an “all clear” after the 11th. Why not use that as an excuse to drink in some extra adulation? Mars’ move into your third house of communication will help you spread the word about any news you might have. An overpowering urge to fall into the hands of Love could overwhelm you on the 27th, thanks to a powerful attraction fueled by Venus and Pluto. 

VIRGO (Aug 23-Sep 22)

You might be busily planning for the future, but there’s a lot to be said by doing all you can to live in the present. A group project or community activity could be very distracting. Try to trust that things will go smoothly, even without you contributing your organizational skills 24/7. Relax into a new way of being as the sun enters your sign and kisses up to make a new moon on the 22nd. 

LIBRA (Sep 23-Oct 22)

Surprise your friends with a burst of energetic assertiveness this month. Mars will move into your (usually) peaceful sign on the 6th. An interaction with Neptune on the 9th could find insisting that a love partner wake up to smell the coffee. There might be some sorely needed adjustments, and this is the time to make them. Peace returns on the 25th, when Venus and Saturn kiss and make up.

SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21)

While everybody else is on vacation, you’re gung-ho for some work activity! Mercury’s retrograde could have unearthed a project or a job offer from the past. In either case, this is your time to shine! The new moon in Virgo on the 22nd could ignite a flurry of activity involving your larger community. Expect accolades and a request to share your expertise. 

SAGITTARIUS  (November 22-Dec 21)

Mixed messages in your social life could be messing with your idea of fun. Neptune wants to bring you all kinds of heady adventures, but Saturn keeps sending out warning signals. On the 1st, Venus will bring your attention to this quandary. Instead of letting it bowl you over, simply ask how you can continue to enjoy extreme pleasure while keeping your feet firmly planted.

CAPRICORN (Dec 21-Jan 20)

An unusual amount of stimulation in your house of higher learning and foreign travel could create some disruptions for you. If you answer this siren call to roam, tiptoe around Mercury’s retrograde by  holding off until late in the month. You’ll want to hang out at home until the 19th, so you can enjoy a work win and a few days of high romance.

AQUARIUS (Jan 21-Feb 20)

Does a life partner, client, or close friend seem to be stalling these days? You can hold Mercury’s retrograde responsible, but relax. It won’t last past the 12th or so. The full moon in your sign could bring you something you’ve always wanted, or you might make plans to do something for yourself that’s fulfilling and fun. 

PISCES (Feb 21-March 20)

There’s a lot of summer left, and you’ll want to enjoy every minute. Jupiter brings you new friends and more social engagements than you can probably handle. Try not to overdo it, because you also have some serious career matters to tend to. The new moon in Virgo on the 22nd could bring someone into your life who makes your life a lot more intriguing.
